I'd imagine that was really difficult to draw; I can't even begin to think how you'd do that position. You didn't make one of your employees be your ref, did you? I don't think I've ever seen a pic in this position. Really nice--you got all the proportions right, so far as I can see, and, of course, you have your excellent hair!

Thank you! I was going to draw a really over the top, handsome Snape, and then have canon!Snape in the bottom corner, reading fanfiction saying WTF?? But then I found a reference shot like the one I drew ,and was ...yeah, I'd hit that! :D

As for the birthday...I dunno. I've known for a couple of years, but I don't remember where I heard it. Voldie's birthday is New Year's eve/day? and aw crap, I forget, but someone else's birthday is Halloween, I think.

I rarely read interviews, so I'm not too up on this stuff. hell, I can barely remember my mother's birthday!
