This was done for headers and such for the Snarry Games. I'm not sure why, but this is one of my favourite Snarries I've ever drawn. It came about quite quickly, but I'm really pleased with it.
AND IT'S EVEN WORK SAFE! :D

Harry's hand is amazing. How much ink drawing have you done before this? I'm hoping lots, because otherwise it's like you magically leapt out of a box knowing how to do shit I still haven't figured out after fifteen years. XD

*grins like a madwoman* Nope, this was pretty much my first. I've added some shading to some watercolours with them, but I never had much luck with it before this one. And this was done a month ago, but i'd held back posting it, until the Snarry Games had a chance to use it or not.

Thanks for the lovely compliments, but i have a secret for you. You know how you always hear that learning stuff is way harder when you're older? THEY LIE! Learning stuff is WAAAY easier when you're older. I *think* because I'm more patient than I was at twenty, I concentrate better than I did at twenty, and my ego doesn't get in the way like it did back then. (not that I'm implying that 20year olds can't be amazing at stuff) but I had those obstacles in my way. I'm also not as lazy as I was back then. I would spend HUGE amounts of time doing absolutely NOTHING. Granted, I waste a good chunk of every day surfing the web, but I don't see that as wasted time.

It's funny what different people see in this pic. Half the people think Harry is protecting Snape, and the other half think he is holding Snape back from kicking some ass.

I just meant the hand to be an affectionate gesture, but both Harry and Snape ended up looking a bit pissed off, so ... who knows? *g*

I don't know what Eurotrip is. Well, a movie, duh, but I don't think I've heard of it. Hell, I hadn't heard of most of the Oscar winning movies, why the hell would I know about the crap ones? ;^)

It *is* intriguing. It's art that seems like it should be a scene from a fic I should recognize but can't quite recall, you know? Harry looks very much like he's holding Snape back from something and Severus looks almost sad. Usually I think of Snape as the protective one so this protective Harry seems like a glimpse of the canon!Harry with the "saving people thing." He just looks so fierce. I know I wouldn't want to cross him in this moment.

For me it shows a long loving relationship. Sev's expressions are already showing on Harry's face :D But I like that protective/possessive!Harry explanation too. I can't blame Harry for being possessive as we all want a piece of his Sev *g* He must protect him from us.

Thanks! I just grabbed the first round thing I could find, to trace the circles for his glasses, and that's the size they ended up being. I like them huge, though!

I love the patterns on their cloth and hair! oh and Harry's eyes. I can't decided what they are feeling, it's weird somehow Harry seems to be restraining Severus and comforting him to me.

Anyhow, I love it.

This is so lovely. To me it looks like Harry is protecting/defending Snape. For example, someone just said/did something, and Harry is all, "Bitch. What did you say? Severus, you wait here. I'll handle this."
