Now see, I think it's the opposite. Forcing him to confront his OCD issues should help him overcome them. (this from someone who doesn't have OCD, of course...)

Yeah I did think that there was a possibility that forcing him to confront it might help him overcome his issues. I don't have OCD, of course, but I can certainly see how that might happen.
