Apr. 2nd, 2008 10:00 pmBelow the cut, you shall see some amazing photographs of a snowman, my children, some of my animals and my shiny new fandom. *eyeroll*

Harrison, Quincey and 'Teh Snowman.' The poor kids waited all winter for 'packing' snow, and Good lord! It was so fekking cold, we didn't get any until March! *kicks winter*

Mary Poppins (the white horse) and just to make Accioslash hungry, a pic of Hogrid (the pig) Yes, he IS tasty!

My new fandom, courtesy of Harrison. Today, he was making up his own fanfics in the Mario world. God help us all! We made these with Crayola model magic. It's actually fun stuff to play with!

Yeah. I'm a sick fuck. Aren't they cousins or something?

Annnnd...I'm pretty sure it's brothers, lol.

Date: 2008-04-03 03:38 am (UTC)And yes, I own a pig. His name is Hogrid and he LOVES belly rubs! He's quite shy, but will come and sit in your lap to have his ears and tummy rubbed. :D
Poppins is a miniature horse, so Hogrid isn't that big. He's around the size of a Basset Hound.

Date: 2008-04-03 05:07 am (UTC)How old are they? (The boys, not the livestock.) Already taking after mother in the fandom world!
Do you live on a farm? Or in an urban area...like an apartment or a flat and you just happen to fit them in your two bedroom?

Date: 2008-04-03 01:17 pm (UTC)Harrison is 6 and Quincey is almost 5. This Mario fandom thing is pretty new. We held off on video games as long as possible, but it was inevitable, I fear.
We live juuust outside the city, on four acres. It's not a farm, per se, but we built a big garage that serves as a barn. Our neighbour is a famer though, but fields of wheat, and all that.

Date: 2008-04-03 01:18 pm (UTC)I totally forgot they were plumbers too. I'm pretty good at the games, but I fail at the canon history of these two. :D

Date: 2008-04-03 05:18 am (UTC)What you really need is a Waluigi or a Wario doll(They're the 'evil' counterparts). Wario/Mario! LOL.

Date: 2008-04-03 01:22 pm (UTC)I've never heard of Waluigi or Wario. I am old-school supernintendo girl, from way back in the day, and we just got a Wii last week, so no Wario yet! :D

Date: 2008-04-03 01:25 pm (UTC)Yeah, we've already told them that they won't need a university edumacation if they work at the pet store, right? RIGHT? :D
Actually, I strong-armed the grandparents into investing in RESPs (educational funds), since they don't live anywhere near us and neve babysit. *holds guilt-weapon close to my chest*

Date: 2008-04-03 02:07 pm (UTC)My little boy is completely obsessed with all things Mario. Did you make those toys? If Zack seen them he would demand I go out and buy them RIGHT NOW!! LOL!
And your horse and pig are darling.

Date: 2008-04-03 03:21 pm (UTC)Yes, we made those toys out of Crayola Model Magic. It's like play-doh, but lighter and softer, and when you leave it to dry, it ends up as a light foam.
You should try it! I pretty much suck at making things with clay, but this stuff is very easy to work with.

Hee the Mario models are cute, and of course, what does anyone expect from giving slashers two boy models to play around with ;) I think I have some Fimo somewhere around here *plots*
