this was a request from WendyWild on DA to have a pic her and her 'father' Snape. I hope she likes it. Her reference photos were CRAP so I basically just did a young girl with similar colouring. (gotta love B&W!!)




If I keep drawing this way, I'm going to lose my "Grandmaster of Squick" and be re-titled "Mistress of Fluff". ;)

Tripp - that is absolutely stunning. It's so cute it's practically Norman Rockwell (and I mean that in a very good way!) and good god woman - the way you draw is incredible!! The little girl looks almost alive!

God, I see backstory in my brain! I think Snape is rescuing this poor little girl from a death eater attack after the rest of her family has been killed. She has a blanket wrapped around her because the attack happened in the middle of the night, of course. Snape will try and rush her back to Hogwarts and the Order before she's noticed. Perhaps Molly will take care of her for a while while she recovers.

You don't know how this shocked me. I've been writing the Snarry of my life for months now, in which Severus' relationship with a six-year old little girl features prominently. You don't know how this grabbed at my heart. It's beautiful--the juxtaposition of Severus' expression and the tenderness that the posing implies. I've printed this off, and have it tacked above my desk, for inspiration as I write. Thanks.

Actually, fluff is a bit addicting! (and I don't have to hide it from my children! ;) )

There are a couple more fluffy Snape pictures floating around down there, but I've done my best to squash them to the bottom so that some of the squick can float up to the surface first. I have a reputation to uphold, afterall! :D

There's nothing wrong with fluffiness. This does look beautiful, though. He looks slightly upset about something and she looks so very peaceful. The way I see it is that something happened in Severus's life that has him perturbed so he goes to the only thing that will give him peace, his daughter.

I'm here via snapenews and just wanted to say that this is simply lovely. I go for about anything with Snape, but I think it's the baby that really gets me in this one. She just looks like she feels so...cherished.
