Just bored, so I'm posting a WIP of my much neglected son, Harrison. I've drawn Quincey in the past, but poor Harry has been passed over so far.

Here's tonight's preliminary sketch. I've found it quite helpful to wait a day or two before starting the actual shading. Although, I'm rarely that patient.

Yeah, a sketch (to me) means just a light pencil with little or no shading. I don't mean, like, a pictionary sketch. I fail huge at quick sketch type drawings. This one took about an hour. ( I think...Law and Order was on, so I was kind of distracted...):D

Thank you! Some people just do a rough outline before shading, but I"m a pretty complete sketcher.

Ha! The only uncanny thing is our similar haircuts! (and his is quite a bit longer than mine) *slaps him*

Harry actually looks a lot like my husband, but Quincey is my mini-me. :D

Whee! Thanks! Actually, since I'm adopted, and have never met my 'real' family, my kids are the first people I've ever met who look like me. It's kind of neat.

When/where is Terminus? I doubt it. Toronto can be written off as 'family visit' whereas somewhere else would be a harder sell for hubby.

Aug 7-11. Don't ask how, but Mandie and I are going. Sans baby. yay!
