Snarry Arts and moar harrison WIP

Thank you McDonald's playland. As much as I would rather eat sewer rat droppings,(actually ...now that I think of it ...) at least it's a place for the kids to run around and burn some calories on SNOWY (yes, it's April 24th and it SNOWED today *sob*) afternoon.

And here's the next in the wip for Harry. (my Harry)

I made his cheeks smaller and began some of the dark stuff. The brightness/contrast is fudged here.

Love the shading of his nose and the light on his bangs. And again, drawing WIP posts are win.

Thanks! Yes, I KILL for WIP. It should be mandatory for every artist to post them! Especially with notes! I've learned soooo much from other artist's WIPs.

really? I have been taking pics of paintings in process, and I find them fascinating, but thought they'd bore the pants off my flist.

OK, that sounds dumb, not that I post it.

Your WIP is great to see. what a beautiful child you have.

Nope. Everyone seems to enjoy seeing WIPs. I know I do!

It snowed? Poor you!

Lucky us! I love seeing your process. It's exciting to know that you are teaching yourself to make this stuff right before our very eyes, like some kind of, um, magician.

You mean....wizard? :D (or witch).

It's odd that they say that you learn more slowly, and/or not as well as you age, and I absolutely disagree. I have learned MOAR in my thirties than I ever did in my twenties. Of course, I spent most of my twenties making the mistakes that I finally managed to learn from in my thirties! *giggle*

But really, I had no patience as a young 'un. Now that I'm a codger, I actually enjoy the process of 'doing' instead of just the 'being done' part. :D

*hugs you* Brrr it's been cold enough here and it snowed last week but not today. Today the wind blew and blew and blew....

Harry is comming along nicely and Harry and Snape are delicious as always.

Thanks! It didn't REALLY snow here, it was more of an ice-storm. *eyeroll* Same effect though...cold, slippery and generally unpleasant. Nothing like having to scrape your windshield in APRIL!

A couple of days ago, we were playing in the yard in t-shirts! *shivers*

You have such beautiful boys. And they look like you. I don't think my kid looks like either me or Hubby, and never has. But He's definitly ours coz he acts exactly like the both of us. Talks FOREVER like Hubby, and is a picky eater like me. Oh well.
Beautiful art work, adorable boys.

I bet, if you look at pics of yourself as a child, you'll see a likeness with your son there.

Other than the hair, Harry doesn't look much like me (actually his hair is much darker, like hubby's) he is a clone of my husband. Quincey is MY clone. Personality wise, they're pretty evenly split. All the good traits come from me, of course! :^D

Not much difference between rat droppings and McD's LOL! But yeah - there need to be more free indoor playground things that aren't associated with buying crap. What's up with that??

Also nawww, the Snarry looks amlost Mucha-esque, I love Harry's nose and his graceful paw. Bless!

And little Harry, HEEE SO CUTE.

Okay, I never went to art school (and it's been a thousand years since I was in regular school) I"ll have to google Mucha.

Yeah, Harry's paw! Gee, can you tell I used a ref of a chick for that pose? :D
