Here's a coloured ink of Mr. Housie-pants.

My very first thing in coloured ink! I need to get more colours! :D $$$$$$

Licia, I tried the scribble thang, and uh ... no. I crosshatched instead.




And just in case you give a shit, (and I'm sure you all do) here's a close up of the cross hatching. I'm still kind of new to it, but we are having quite the love affair.

You did the same thing I do with scribbles. You just made straighter lines! Hahaha.

Offer a tip? Avoid perpendicular crosshatching if you can. It tends to flatten, plus you notice holes and "non perpendiculars" a lot more (it's like trying to draw a perfect circle--better to just make it an obvious oval, you know?). Also, watch for solid blacks. They can flatten a drawing, too.

This is awesome, though. I love how you crosshatch. I love the colors. I love his expression.

Thanks for the tips! I never really thought about perpendicular or whatever, I just turn the paper a bit and scribble, then turn it again, etc. :D
