Here are the questions she asked me:


1. What is your favorite picture that you've ever drawn?

That links to all three pics, but the middle one, when I drew it, just blew me away. I was so happy and so thrilled, and was honestly afraid to draw anything else, because I was afraid that nothing would ever turn out that good again. Obviously, if you look at the pic, I've improved since then, but it was a great feeling to sit back and say, "yes! That turned out exactly like I wanted it to."

2. What's your favorite memory? And as a second part, do you associate specific senses with memory, like smell or taste?
Ha! You ask hard questions!

Long time ago memory? hmmm I can't honestly say! I have lots of good ones, Horseback riding with my dad, building tree forts with my brother, going to Disney as a kid, etc. They're all good, but I couldn't pick one over the others. I've had lots of shitty things happen too, of course, but I had a reasonably, if somewhat dysfunctional childhood. :D
ETA: Whoops! two part question!! Um, yes, smell and taste AND MUSIC can totally bring me back to a place and time. specifically songs from the 80s. I moved a lot in the 80s, and each song reminds me of a different place, house, school, freinds ,etc.

3. If two of your OTPs had to battle against each other in a death match, who would they be, what would the weapon of choice be, and who would you want to win?
Hahahaha! It would be Snarry against Jimmy and Chazz from Blades of Glory. Not exactly a fair fight! Wands vs Spandex! I would hope Jimmy and Chazz would fare well, but I highly doubt it! :D

4. Is there any talent you wish you had?
Oh man, I would love to juggle! I've tried repeatedly, but I just suck at it!

5. Do you believe in ghosts? If so, have you ever had any experiences?
I don't believe or not believe. I suppose anything is possible. I've never seen a ghost (although I'd love to) but I did see a UFO once. (no sorry, no anal probe) just a very odd light flitting and spinning around late one night while my ex hubby and I were driving across the country. He saw it too, and he's not into that mumbo jumbo, but def agrees it was something very odd.

2. Well, that's why I said favorite memory. ^_^ I could have said shittiest, but I didn't think that would have been very nice. That you associate different songs with different places is pretty cool.

3. It could end in a tie with them all in bed. ...not that I think you should totally draw that or anything... *whistles innocently*

Marie. I hate my middle name. Mostly because the translation of my first and middle name are Christ and Mary, and I'm an atheist. :P

I can play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and Frère Jacques on the piano. That's it.

3)If you could be anyone else, living or dead for a day, who would it be?
Edgar Allen Poe. I adore him, but his life seemed pretty shitty, so one day would be enough. But God, he was absolutely brilliant and unstable, and I'd love to see some of the things he went through.

4)Celebrity crush. You would ya bump uglies with?
Well, as much as I love Greg, I'd rather be shallow and go for someone younger and hotter. :P So I'm thinking James Roday. I don't know how good he'd be, but I get the impression we'd have fun either way. ^_^

5)You are having a dinner party. Name five famous people, living, dead or even fictional that you would invite.
Hrm. I have no idea. Let me think. This is hard because I admire a lot of people for their brains, but they're not the kind of people I'd want to hang out with. If I'm having a "dinner party," I don't want to sit around and discuss politics, I want to get smashed and make out with people that I won't remember in the morning. ^_^

So, let's go with Brittney Spears (let's face it, she'd be a trip to hang out with), Fred and George Weasley (because I might be able to get them to make out with each other), Jeff Davis and Christopher Walkin.

He's cute, but not 'bad' looking enough for me. :D

He's not "bad" at all. ^_^ He usually plays comedic, dorky characters, and during the credits of the show he's currently on, Psych, they always have these little gag reel type things where the actors are just playing around. All in all it makes him seem like he'd be a fun guy to hang out with.

1. I really love that Snape picture because it's such an inspiration to all budding artists. The difference between the first and the second drawing alone is phenomenal. It really does make me believe that anyone's talent can be nurtured if they put a bit of work into it. Alas, I am much more interested in making up for all the Suzy homemaker stuff I missed out on by working 17384768977546453 hours a week when I was younger. I still want to learn to can one of these days. Now I'm just content baking pies from scratch and tweaking recipes to make them low calorie but not taste like sawdust. My pumpkin pie is made of win. *pats self on the back*

2. Music, foods, and scents all bring back strong associations for me. Especially foods which I associate with people. My grandmother made the best pies and took all her recipes with her when she died. I've spent the last year trying to replicate her coconut cream pie. Which is particularly difficult to do if you never taste anything. ;D Al wasn't always heavy, but all his memories as a kid are around food.

3. Do not underestimate the power of spandex. After all, I can still wear the same spandex pants I wore pre-op. Believe me, that's some powerful shit.

4. Juggling? What would you do with this particular talent? It's not like it has any practical application like being able to sew or deep-throating. *cough*

5. I always think I'd want to see ghosts or UFO's, but I'm sure I'd piss myself if I saw either. I'm not keen on the whole anal probe thing and the aliens I keep reading about don't strike me as the vanilla sort.

1. I would be "You! Out-of-my-fandom Woman" and I would have the power to make it so. I think that pretty much says it all. ;D Oh, and by "fandom" I mean any activity I participate in including driving and sitting in public places like movies and restaurants.

2. Let's see. A competent rescue party made up of smokin' hawt guys as I dislike hot, sandy beaches and being away from the comforts of my home. After that I suppose I don't need anything else. ;D Barring that I want some (really hawt) really smart survivalist guy who is madly in love with me so that they can take care of all the food, shelter, survival type stuff for me while I work on my tan. Oh, and I guess I need some really good sunscreen.

3. Let's see, things that scare me...small-minded people, all animals except cats, most relatives, cooties, politicians, one size fits all clothing, my daughter having access to my credit card, myself having access to my credit card, bugs, bees, spiders, and all assorted creepy, crawly things, driving, any disruption in my carefully constructed routine, and "mystery meat" day at the cafeteria.

4. Ha! My dream vacation would consist of staying in my own home and having people visit me here. Yes, yes, the world is filled with many wonderful things to see and do. *Yawn*

Though I do go on vacation because other people in my family like to travel and if I'm going to leave my house, I'm going to make it worth my time. I love Niagara Falls. Cheap touristy attractions are fun, too, like the world's biggest ball of yarn or something. I'd never pick a beach or anywhere hot or with animals (except Marine life which I actually do like. Sea World rules). I wouldn't mind going on a theme trip. Like going to see a number of Broadway shows or checking out a series of local diners.

5. It wouldn't be possible for no one to get hurt. That money belongs to someone. Even if the depositor's money is guaranteed it still has to come from somewhere and you can bet the big corporations aren't going to absorb that loss. They'll pass it on to consumers some way.

Regarding #5 - Notice I did not say I *wouldn't* rob the bank, just that your scenario was impossible.

And I think both sides would vote me off Survivor before I even got to the island. I'd be all, "dude! I need this special protein diet" that makes me want to vote myself off in annoyance using my super villain powers. I actually would probably fare pretty well, but God invented indoor plumbing for a reason. Just sayin'.
