FINALLY! Pointillation Snarry is done!
May. 4th, 2009 09:12 amOh man, I don't think I've EVAH worked this loooong on any art. It wasn't really hard, perse, but it was just so damn slow going! I must say though, that being forced to slow down really helped me to focus on many of the details that I would have sort of just scribbled through with a regular drawing.

Date: 2009-05-04 03:45 pm (UTC)These almost photo-realistic portraits of yours are my very favorites. I stared at this for a loooong time. I love how your characters, in general, are plain people - Harry is not a supermodel, just a kid. And Snape! I feel like I've met him before. I just know what the teeth beneath that mouth look like to push his lips out so. And his crow's feet! And the sideburns! And the youth/aged contrast between their cheeks! And those noses! You make me want to run my fingetips all over these two.
I don't care how long pointillism takes (actually, I've done it, so I know), you must do more if it produces art like this. You are an artist! You must suffer for your Snarry! Pleasepleaseplease.
