tripperfunster10 years is an awfully long time. I've only been in fandom for just over 5 years, and even less here on livejournal, and it seems like a lifetime! I've been celebrating by reading TONS of fic, re-watching the movies and, of course, picking up a pencil.
I'll have some reccs coming soon (a rarity for me) but for now, take some art.
it is kinda/sorta work safe.
eta: Funny story about this one. Normally I draw in my dining room, near the television and right beside this huge, old mirror I inherited from my parents. When I draw, I will occasionally hold up my art to the mirror to make sure it's okay. When flipped, a lot of flaws will show, and it helps me make it look 'right'. Well, I'm stuck at my sons school lately, and don't have a mirror handy, so when I finished this piece, I took a photo of it and stuck it in photoshop, tweaked it a bit and left it. But then thought .. oh, I should flip it and check it out. Well, it looked WAY BETTER flipped, and left it that way. Except my signature was backwards. So I flipped the signature too. AND I'M SUCH A WHIZ IN PHOTOSHOP YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL. ;p It's also on the wrong side of the pic, but i'm sure if I don't say anything, you won't notice, amirte?
