Scratchboard done. (sort of)
Jan. 10th, 2012 05:17 pmWhee! I"m really happy with how this turned out, aside from the fact that I drew this on my 'practice' sheet, meaning I cut a nice big sheet of paper to draw my actual picture on, and used the smaller, oddly cut piece to try out my scratch tool and get a feel for it.
CAN YOU GUESS ON WHICH PIECE THIS WAS DRAWN? Yup. Not by mistake. My 'practice' doodle turned out so well that I just kept going.
The good news is I have a nice big fresh paper to make a new drawing on!

I'm not sure if I'll finish his scarf, or leave it vague like that. Thoughts? Edited to add finished scarf
