Okay, we're getting to the end here! Can you tell I am SOOO avoiding doing his hair? urhgg..
I did the beard/scrub. I'll have to see how I like it in the morning.
I have to fix/finish his left (my right) shoulder, and perhaps make his chin a tad rounder, plus darken the shadows on/around his eyes. I'll also go over all the dark areas with a 6b pencil. so far, aside from the original light sketch, that I did with ....an H? I dunno, whatever's light and lying around, the rest is done with a woodless 4b. I find, when the numbers get too high, like 9b, they get too waxy.

But first ... the hair. *shudders* I hate mid-tone semi-curly hair! whaaaaah!

Oh, and that blue line on his hand? That's where my original line art had his chin! bwahaha that would have been a disaster.

Damn it, why can't I just be sick for a few days? I feel like I've missed so much. Look at the awesome WIP tutorial you're doing of -- EEEE -- House! It looks sooooooooo good! You've totally captured him and it's not even all the way finished yet (actually, it's clear even from the early stages that you nailed it, after adjuting for chin length, et. al.). We loves.

*big sloppy kisses*

Thanks! The WIP has been fun, but oddly...stressful. I'm sort of afraid of screwing it up, now that it's public.

So sorry to hear you were sick! Just the run of the mill flu? Or something yuckier?

*hugs you then sprays self with antiseptic*

I can definitely see why something like this would be stressful. I'd be scared to screw things up too, but you've nothing to worry about. It's coming out really, very good. The scruff is great.

Nothing so dread as the flu, thankfully. Just a head cold, which then moved to my chest, and then turned into a sinus infection. There was the most marvelous shade of sickly neon green gunk in my tissue everytime I blew my nose. Quite disgusting, and I am sorry to mention it, but I still can't get over it. Never seen anything like that before (and I hope I never will again).

I probably would have recovered faster if I hadn't had to work. I never get sick and the one time I do, it's during the week we're not allowed to call out. Damn it!
