I'm boooooooored!
Feb. 18th, 2013 03:53 pmSnowed in today. It's a holiday anyway, but the highways are closed, I'm craving chocolate, and the interwebs seem to be a somewhat slow place today.
My kids are bored and fighting and I need a distraction.
ENTERTAIN ME!
What is your favourite sexual position?
Worst movie you ever saw?
Sexiest movie star you never met?
Actual celebrity you've rubbed shoulders with?
What is your animagus?
Dumbledore: cut or un-cut? ;)
Any other miscellany.

Date: 2013-02-18 11:25 pm (UTC)Worst movie you ever saw? Aliens... Had to leave the room because it was making me nauseous and I couldn't eat bean sprouts for years (character/first victim was eating a salad with them).
Sexiest movie star you never met? Patrick Stewart is the first that comes to mind.
Actual celebrity you've rubbed shoulders with? A weather reporter.
What is your animagus? Don't have one... Really large hawk, maybe.
Dumbledore: cut or un-cut? ;) Cut
Any other miscellany. I'm doing this just because you're you.

Date: 2013-02-18 11:41 pm (UTC)I remember watching ... Leaving Las Vegas? (the one with Nick Cage) and he was an alcoholic killing himself with booze, and he was with a hooker, killing herself with ... her lifestyle, and really, it was fantastically written, beautifully acted, but as God is my witness, I wish I'd never seen it. Too depressing, too real, too raw.
As kids we had the movie aliens on VHS, and we probably wore the tape out, rewinding and rewatching that explody alien part over and over and over again! :D

Date: 2013-02-19 12:10 am (UTC)Dragonslayer doesn't count because even nursing the baby wouldn't get her to stop crying. Something about large dragon roaring. Threatening her with never taking her to a movie until she was 35 meant nothing to a 4 month old.Never did get to see the rest of that. Her father got to see it though. *snarls*
Okay, there was a movie called The Weatherman(?) about a tv weatherman who got all the blame and none of the respect. Trash kept being throw at him. Really bad.

Date: 2013-02-19 01:27 am (UTC)I DID leave Runaway Train with John Voight. So. Bad.
I also left Rango, but more because my kid wanted to leave. I thought it was pretty shitty, but could have stomached it until the end.
I have no problem with gore. I love scary movies!!

Date: 2013-02-20 10:58 pm (UTC)It says that it made an impact on you too to remember that 'wonderful???' scene. I left the viewing area right after that scene.
Saw Warm Bodies last night. It's better the further away from seeing it. Had to leave that one too to totter around the empty halls of the theatre complex and come back to peek at the screen from time to time for the rest of the movie. Am really not a zombie watcher/reader.
