Rating Question for A03

The rating on my Regarding Tony comic is M for Mature on A03. While there is peen there is no graphic penetration, there is no non-con or even dub-con really.

Someone commented there that I need to change the rating, and I'm honestly not sure if I should. The next step up is E for Explicit which is 'only for adults'.

I would think that the rating of Mature pretty much implies it's only for adults too. (The rating down is Teen.)

Whatdaya think?

I think the difference between Mature and Explicit is fairly arbitrary, most of the time. I always thought mature was an appropriate rating for your comic.

Well, you and I seem to be in the minority here. ;)
I honestly don't really CARE, it's not hard to click on a button to change it, but I was just surprised that someone actually was ... offended?/shocked/bothered enough to ask me to change it.

Heh, as a queer woman, I'm not all that interested in seeing detailed pictures of dicks, even if I like m/m erotica. But if it happens in something I already like and am reading, I try not to don't focus on it.

I assume that you're not SURPRISED or shocked by it though. Especially if something is rated Mature.

I guess what really bothered me is that I couldn't find an acutal guidline for how to rate stuff on A03.
