Bwahaha! I was just watching tv, and there was an ad for some type of eye cream, and they sold it as INSPIRED BY DNA RESEARCH.

Let that sink in. INSPIRED BY DNA RESEARCH. What the fuck does that even mean?

I've seen a few other 'claims' like that, but I dont' recall them offhand.

Heh. There is a commercial on TV here, I think it's for dog food, that touts that it has "cold forged life bits", which I guess makes it better than your run of the mill dog food? (and makes me wonder why MY food doesn't have cold forged life bits, too). I'm always like: WTF does that even MEAN?
So yeah, commercials = very amusing.

There's some other commercial, I can't even remember for what, but it has PATENTED MICRO TECHNOLOGY or some other such bs.

And, yeah, I know the 'patented micro technology' one you're talking about. And every time I hear it, I'm wondering, do they know how long and hard it is to actually get something patented? Do they even know what a patent is?

In Sweden we have three kinds of milk: fat, low fat and the one in between, it´s called "mellanmjölk" which means "in-between-milk". This was the text on the packages for that milk awhile ago:
