yay! Crayon House Art!!

If you read my journal (and if you're reading this, then you DO,) you know that I'm pretty much a black and white girl. Other than the odd cartoon, I mostly work with graphite. I have a phobia of colour, and although I love it in other peoples work, I hate it in my own.

Now, mine isn't nearly as nice as hers, but I'm just thrilled to pieces with it. *huggles it*. I used THE shittiest crayons known to man (the ones in those $20 art kits that you buy for kids, that have like, 3000 pens, pencils, crayons, watercolour pads and markers) so the quality wasn't the best, but I feel like something clicked in my brain, and I may just have to go out and purchase some COLOURFUL utensils tomorrow! *SQUEE*

He's a bit more yellow than I intended (especially since I didn't use yellow at all.)

Get Prang brand! They're cheaper than Crayola's, have more colors, are better for the environment (made from soybeans), color smoother, AND are completely safe to eat without negative repurcussions. My dog ate my 96 box and pooped pretty colors for a couple days, but she was fine. :D

I'm the same way when I find something I like! I haven't heard of the name, but I also haven't looked for crayons before. Would they be at an art supply store? Or more like and Office Depot type store?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Staples and Office Max carry them out here. I don't know if we even have Office Depots. I always used to get mine at Toys-R-Us. >.> Hahahaha. It depends what are supply store you go to. Hmmm. I don't know, I think they usually sell them wherever they sell Crayolas. They're in a black box with a panda on the front. :)
