A drawing of me, and one of a rainbow. :D

Harrison and Quincey grabbed the crayons and decided to put their artistic skillz to work.

Harry drew a lovely pic of me:

And one of his father:

And Quincey, full to the brim with gay pride, drew a lovely rainbow:

Thier drawings have just begun to resemble actual things, and I just love it! I squee every time they draw something!

Disclaimer: Both children are BOYS not girls, they just have long hair and pretty faces, and the picture of me may or may not be accurate ... :D

My son has also just started to attempt representational art. It's so exciting. I took one of his pictures and asked what it was. "It's a monster with something coming out of its nose." Yup, that was what it lookedlike.

Look at the sweet smiles on those boys! What sweeties!

Ha! Quincey drew an oval, with about a million legs coming off of it. I asked, "Oh, is that a spider?" and he said, "No, it's a candy that fell on the floor and now it has hair on it." BWAHAHAHA *takes the hint and vacuums.*

I've been pushing them to do representational art since they were in utero. I've always enjoyed kids art. I have a wall of different sized picture frames, just sort of plastered willy-nilly and I put the kid's art up there, and switch them out, every so often. It's really cute, and they get a kick out of it.

I haven't been trying to get him to do representational art, because I really like the "patterin" art that he's been making. But this is fun, too.

Lovely pictures, certainly look pretty advanced. Like the rainbow. My sister told me of a family portrait my nephew was doing for school, apparently I was in it, depicted as slightly less spherical than my sis & shoving chocolate into my mouth. I'm now wondering when was the last time I had the stuff in front of the kid...

yes, well, I'm surprised he didnt' draw me in front of the computer, looking at porn! :D

And no, they're not really advanced at all. they're pretty much right in line with the other kids at their pre-school. they're just much cooler!

Remember: every time you see a rainbow God is having gay sex.

Your boys are such cuties. I'll try to remember what the drawing of you looks like so I can find you at Prophecy. Are you bringing the whole family along or would you rather save your kids some therapy?

Yes, that is exactly what I told him! *snerk*

yes, I look exactly like that pic. I'm a size -12 and my head is a size +200. :D

I'll be the one wearing a really small dress, and a REALLY big hat! (to cover my extremely curly hair!) :D

The family will be with me in Toronto, but not at the actual con. We're already saving up for therapy.

HEHEHEHEHE! Your babies are SO adorable. Omg, I love them! And their drawings! And I may steal them in Toronto. I kid, I kid. I can't fit something that adorable in my suitcase without setting off internatinal terrorism alerts for too much cute entering the US.

[identity profile] tripperfunster.livejournal.com 2007-04-13 01:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, we have to rough them up before we're allowed to visit the states. :D

If you hang around me long enough, there are times, every day where I am more than willing to GIVE THEM AWAY for free! ;^)

Hee! Two little Shaun Cassidys living in my house.

(are you old enough to know who Shaun Cassidy is??)

[identity profile] deadlyvelvet.livejournal.com 2007-04-13 01:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Not really. I'm 22. Was he in the Partridge Family??? His name does sound familiar...

[identity profile] tripperfunster.livejournal.com 2007-04-13 01:35 pm (UTC)(link)
close! David Cassidy was in the partridge family :D Shaun (his brother) was in the Hardy Boys. I wasn't too fond of him, but all of my friends were gaga. *eyeroll*

Awwww, the boys are so cute! Someday, they'll be ready to draw their own House/Wilson scenes. ;)

Sigh, such gorgeous kids, with little chance of being normal--thank God. May they have half as much talent and potty mouth as their mother does. A candy with hair on it--I want that kid! He's a realist!
