Hey! A Snupin that I wrote a while back is the monthly feature over on Sychophant Hex. I'm a bit floored and thrilled too! Cyn, did you have anything to do with this? *cough*nepetism(sp?)*cough*

If you haven't read it before, I think it's quite funny and (duh) smutty too. (one of the reviews over there mentioned that they thought it was TOO smutty.) *snerk*

Anyhoo, it's PoA time line and Dumbledore has decided to unite the Staff by having them play games at their weekly meetings. Oddly enough, Snape is not amused. Hopefully YOU will be.

EDIT: grrr, it seems you have to be a logged in member to read it there. If you aren't, then try my skyehawke account. They let any old trailer trash read their stuff! http://archive.skyehawke.com/story.php?no=12976&chapter=1&font=&size=

Accio, just go and fucking read it already! Truuuuust me!

It's a damn fine fic and it deserves to be featured. And Accio--GIVE IT UP AND GO READ IT, OR I'M GOING TO POST CONSECUTIVE SNIPPETS IN YOUR LJ UNTIL YOU'VE GOT IT ALL. I'm sorry about the all caps, dear, I just wanted to signal my rigid intention. *coughs*

Heh. Your threats have frightened me into submission. But you both will have a lot of explaining to do to Al when my cooter shrivels up and dies from teh Snupin *shudders* pr0n. *Please let this be rated G*

OMG! *Thirteen* chapters??11!!1111eleventy-one!1l1 I don't even read Snarry fics that long. *sigh* It's a good thing you're both so damn cute and not prone to say "I told you so" when I discover just how much I'm going to like this fic. ;D

Srsly...no, really SRSLY, it's funny as hell. Just sort of avert your eyes for the Snupin--that's what I did. :) (not!)

Heh. I managed to read every prony Snupin scene using the simple la la la I'm-just-going-to-pretend-this-is-Snarry technique. How thoughtful of Tripp to assist with the illusion by putting in that Snarry role-playing at the end. ;D

Yeah, see her future self went back and told her past self to make sure to do it that way for you so you wouldn't get, you know, sicky. I take it this means you're not going to be reading my Bill/Snape?

Although I try to stick to one pairing in each of my fandoms, I can usually read most pairings, even het, with Snape. I just really, really dislike Remus. As for reading your Bill/Snape fic, it will have less to do with the pairing than the length of the story. I read at the same pace silently as I do out loud. That's really s-l-o-w, so I tend to read shorter fics so I can finish a story in one sitting. I have a list of your fics bookmarked and I just the other day read Two if by Sea for the first time.

You really dislike Remus? Honestly, I'm sort of neutral, but I don't usually go out of my way to read him in smut--it's a matter of the 'hair'. :)

I'm trying to keep Bill on a short leash, but hélas...

It's silly, really. I mean, he's a fictional character. And I'm sure most of us could relate to the boy who wouldn't risk losing his only friends to stand up for someone else weaker. But that's the theme of his entire life. Even years later when he truly believed that Sirius was a risk to Harry - and thus the entire Wizarding World - he was too worried about Dumbledore being disappointed in him to be upfront about how Sirius was getting into the castle. It's *always* about him first, yet he's a brave Gryffindor? Besides Voldemort, I can't think of a more self-centered, selfish character. I can't blame someone for putting their own interests ahead of others, but it's certainly not something to be admired. It seems like his every instinct is to get out of any responsibility he might have to others whether they are professional or personal in nature.

I always thought that Dumbledore would know how Sirius might get into the castle, and have that covered. Always assumed that he knew the 'ins and outs' of Hogwarts as well as any student.

As for Remus, I think I cut him extra slack because he had a terrible burden for a child--being a werewolf. And to have friends that took care of him? He might've been reluctant to stand up to them when he himself needed them so much. Just my take on it. A lot for a youngster to handle, adolescence, let alone having a condition that would have him ostracized, were it known. So, I've rather been amazed that he turned out as well as he did, and credit his teenage friends with taking care of him, even though they themselves weren't perfect, were self-centered, and did their share of bullying.

I don't think he knew Sirius was an Animagus. And, even if he did, the adult Remus had a responsibility as a teacher to make sure Dumbledore knew it was a possibility. He was careless and irresponsible and put countless lives in danger because he didn't want Dumbledore to be disappointed in him.

I am much more willing to cut Remus slack when he was an adolescent. That's a rough time for everyone. But Remus didn't seem to improve with age. True, neither did Sirius or Snape, but people seem more inclined to recognize their faults and love them anyway (which is what you do with people and characters you love). With Remus, it always seems like people just "forget" he isn't perfect. And I don't think Remus's burden was greater than either Sirius's or Severus's. At least Remus had a loving family.

The venture Bros. is essentially the Tick on LSD and Viagra. probably the craziest cartoon I've ever seen in my life. It makes South park look timid.

My review. Let me show you it.

FILLED TO THE BRIM WITH SPOILERS............

Oh, the humanity! Albus and Sprout, Flitwick and Filch, Snape and McGonagall, Hargrid's baby-smooth asscrack!!!!!!!! OMG! And here I was worried about the Snupin! My poor cooter. She is the Sahara. And I don't think there is enough bleach in the Clorox factory to erase the mental image of Dumbledore alone with Seamus "they're always after me lucky charms" Finnegan. Gah. Why, oh, why with all the delightfully filthy pr0n I spend half my day reading have I never before had the ability to visualize anything that happens in a fic but now with this one I have big honkin' 'ol neon-sign visions of everything that happened in the entire first five chapters of the story? Apparently you not only wield your terrible powers of squick mastery in your drawing, but in your fic at well. Truly I wish you would use this power for good, but I'm impressed by your ability to place the reader in the room with your characters. Your ability to draw out the UST in a situation is practically unparalled.

That said, amid all the wincing and throwing up a little in my mouth with every sex act, I have to admit there were also more than a few moments of pissing myself with unadulterated glee. I swear I have been in Snape's shoes in those endlessly dull meetings playing those mind-numbingly stupid ice-breakers (though fortunately sex was never part of those games since all of my co-workers looked pretty much like Snape's co-workers). And without the benefit of even watered-down Scotch. Snape's reticence and insecurity about a relationship with Lupin were well-developed and realistic and the sex scenes were quite hot in a la la la I'm-just-going-to-pretend-this-is-Snarry way. Humor is difficult to pull off consistently well but you managed it brilliantly. There were so many laugh out loud lines in this fic. Enough, in fact, that I'm considering changing my LJ tag from the hilariously clever (only to me) "Little Information" to one of my favorites. The choices include:

*they were just pulling apart, their lips making a squelching noise not unlike an ancient sewer.
*Well, now that the rest of us will never enjoy the act of lovemaking again.
*someone would have to be a seriously perverted deviant to even envision such a twisted pairing.
(My personal favorite)
*Making friends had never topped his to-do list.
*"Spokerus! You've Severned out of turn!"
*"No. More like a Spanish Fly spell."
*AAURRRGHHGHAARRMPPHUHG,UGH,UGH,UGHYESTAKEITALLBITCH!!!
*The wolf blinked and Snape may have peed a little bit on the bed.
(A close second)
*Okay…okay…bears, you play dead…mountain lions…make yourself seem as large as possible…wolves… bend over and kiss your arse goodbye!
*He had pictured Heaven to smell much less practical
*"You are a sick, twisted old fuck. You know that, don't you?"
*a long moment of what might have been hope, or possibly gas
*"I happen to be attracted to prickly, stand-offish gits, alright?"
*Snape's mental faculties packed up their shit and took an early spring break.

However, I do have to say that considering the humorous tone throughout the story I was more than a little surprised at the ending even with the repeated foreshadowing of Snape's dream. Surprised, but still delighted because you know I think Lupin is a low-life, cowardly Gryffindor prick that makes the baby Merlin cry and Severus deserves better which is why teh Snarry was invented. ;D
